Forgot I had a blog

A little over 2 years ago I wrote this, "That being said, I'm going to do my best to post something every day, however brief it may be."

My last post was 8 months ago so I obviously didn't stick to that!

A lot has changed since that post. I have a new job with a good company........is it the RIGHT job for me? Only time will tell. Things (ie: God, the universe, whatever) have been leading me to think that this isn't the job for me. And just when I was about to give up things started to improve. Of course I wasn't REALLY going to give up because then I'd be unemployed and as anyone with student loans, a mortgage, car payment, etc. can tell you, that's not a good thing.

So I took a little vacation. I'm visiting my brother and sister in law in Alameda (which is across the bay from San Francisco). Apparently the weather has been amazing the last week or so. And now it's raining. Honestly I don't care that it's raining. I am just glad to be away for a long weekend. And I enjoy hanging out with Tim and Patty no matter what we do.

And what we're doing this weekend is the Chinese New Year Treasure Hunt! We took a break last year but as Patty and I were discussing earlier, despite the crappy weather, we're going to give it our all this year! ............unless we just get too wet from the rain, then we'll probably go get something to eat.

That's enough for today. I may actually try to post something 2 days in a row for once!
