Merry Christmas!
As I've grown older, Christmas has lost SOME of the wonder that it once had. Of course the obvious things come to mind.........long gone are the cookies for Santa, the letter to Santa and hoping that I get the Ewok Village (and some Ewoks to go in it). But at the same time, I've come to have a greater appreciation for the religious and family aspects of the holiday. And the family part, over the years, has included not just immediate family, but friends as well. Not sure when I grew up and these things became more important, but I'm glad it happened. Although a really cool toy under the tree would not go unappreciated :-)
So to all of my friends and family, where ever they may be, Merry Christmas.

Very nice Blog shetz! I agree.... Years ago I would have never spent 4 hours at church on Christmas Eve, but that is how we get Christ back into Christmas.
